Observing Alert for the SEB

The Jupiter image was taken on February 13, 2020 at 3:19.2 UT by Clyde Foster with a 0.36 m SCT.   It was taken from South Africa and shows north at the top.  Note that the South Equatorial Belt is growing thin.   It will be important to monitor this belt.   If it fades, the GRS may grow darker.   Keep your eyes on Jupiter.   During February and March it will be visible in the early morning sky just before dawn
