Observation made with Alexandre Sauvé from Sainte-Marguerite du Lac Masson - Québec - Canada.
It looked cometary like a vase, off center with the flared section of the 'V' pointing vertically upwards. So we guessed a tail pointing towards the zenith, nothing more.
We observed it at C11 at 00:30.
The best view was with the Ethos 21mm as we observed a tail that extended over half the field of the eyepiece. With two stars of magnitude 11 on either side of the comet as a reference, we could see it moving in the direction (more or less) of its tail. We could also distinguish in indirect vision a curved front opposite the tail. The comet's nucleus was off center and brighter than the reference stars. We have not estimated the magnitude of the comet.
