12P/Pons-Brooks 2024-Apr-29 Mike Olason

There is not much to see in the low altitude images of Comet 12P/Pons-Brooks from Tucson anymore, about the only information they show is if the comet has had any major change since the last evening. Unfortunately, 12P on the evening of 2024 April 29 UT looked much the same as the previous evening except for the fact that the images are getting shorter in length as the twilight glow now saturates the camera chip except for a few minutes before the comet sets when atmospheric interference and sky haze then make it look like one is imaging thru thin clouds. The last few observing sessions there were not enough stars visible in the bright twilight for the software to calculate the comets magnitude.
