12P/Pons-Brooks 2024-Apr-10 Gianluca Masi

The image above comes from the combination of 5, 60-second exposures, remotely taken with the Samyang 135+Paramount ME+ZWO ASI 6200MC Pro robotic unit available as part of the Virtual Telescope Project facility in Manciano, Italy.

A very young Moon (6%) dominates the stage, with its Earthshine shining so strong because we stretched the image significantly to show comet 12P on the bottom right. On the bottom left, the king of the planets, the bright Jupiter is showing (with, from left to right, its Callisto, Europa and Ganymede moons), while Uranus is close the the left edge of the picture. Thin layers of clouds added the colorful corona, due to diffraction of the light of the Moon.
