C/2022 E3 (ZTF) 2023-Jan-19 Uwe Pilz

This morning I was at my rural observation site, SQM around 20,7 mag/arsec in Bootes.

I could see ZTF with unaided eye, m1=5m4. Later, I looked at it from the city with 7x50 binocular, no problem.

I made the sketch with my 16x70 binoculars. Left without filter, right with UHC-S. I could follow the ion tail for nearly a degree. I am very happy.
