Comet C/2022 A2 (PanSTARRS) was closest to Earth this past mid-January, perihelion mid-February and is on its way out on its slightly hyperbolic orbit. Sitting close to 13th magnitude, the field of view has a number of edge on galaxies situated in the constellation of Andromeda.
