C/2021 O3 (PANSTARRS) 2022-May-02 Mike Olason

On the evening of 2022 May 2 UT an image composed of RGB images each 10 seconds long appeared to show Comet C/2021 O3 (PANSTARRS). The luminance image was created from the RGB images and a FITS image was created from the luminance image so that Astrometrica could calculate some data from the image. Astrometrica calculated the object magnitude as V=9.9 and the object was located about where one would expect to find the comet. The object was about 3' west of a magnitude 10 star.
