Comet 29P/Schwassmann-Wachmann outbursts
All images captured with iTelescope T11 (0.5 M Planewave), with the initial outburst a 300 sec image due to rapidly changing clouds and only a single useable image, while the other images a stacked total 480 sec with 120 sec subs. The uneven date sequence is due to clear sky being available.

There have been two outbursts, the first bright one on September 27/28. This is the brightest outburst in 40 years. This then gradually faded by October 22, but on October 23 another smaller outburst occurred and this outburst is now apparently fading by the beginning of November. On November 3rd there was a small outburst reported on Mission 29P that can be seen as the two jets close to the central body. Since the November 3rd outburst 29P has been fading.
