What's Going On Here? (Part2)...Comet 13P/Olbers June 27 2024UT (C14HyperStar Closeup)
Another scope/ camera for a different perspective. Now I'm imaging comet 13P/ Olbers with two setups causing a back log of nightly images to process. Here is the close-in FOV shot with the C14 HyperStar and an APS-C camera taken on the night of June 26 local. (Widefield view taken with the RASA 11 can be seen here https://astrob.in/1mtft2/B/) Interesting to see the cross member of the plasma tail again. Not sure what's going on here but I can't quite get my head around the 3D aspect of twisting comet tails.
