From night to night comet 13P Olbers still remains difficult in the late evening twilight. Add wobbling atmospheric conditions to the already below 15 degree comet altitude when imaging, well you have a receipt of uncertainty for the faint delicate bluish ion tail. Last night's image shows a distinct directional difference in the comet tail from my June 4th (see https://astrob.in/szs4d5/C/). The blue plasma tail seems to bow downward and lack of disconnect, despite modest imaging conditions. In fact, yesterday' unpublished image (see Below w/o info), showed a chaotic cometary scene, difficult to describe , not making sense other than to blame the image on seeing and inadequate amount of time on target. Interesting to see what I think is a dusty "anti-tail" starting to develop.
