Due to the poor seeing and the least amount of subframes (31x30sec) I've bypassed completely processing of this image of comet 13P/Olbers from June 5th. During the period of imaging, this comet situated in the evening sky for the moonless period end of May thru the beginning of June, it was recognized in my images that the plasma tail was highly erratic. The tail seem to swing either angled up to the 10 - 11 o'clock position or curve downwards from the 9 o'clock position. This image shows a combination of the two. It's important to remember that the sun is nearing its projected sunspot maximum at this time and widespread solar flares and CME's have been occurring frequently.

I cannot speak with any assuredness as to the large near vertical banding, aft of the comet, which appears to be the same texture/color as the more obvious plasma tail structure. (The color similarities can best be viewed in the negative annotation of this image.) Although the structure appears to be not apart of the comet itself (too regular) could it indeed be a recent ejection event just prior to imaging? A reminder that this image is a 20 minute snapshot over a 24 hour period where rapid changes over the comet's tail has been observed. Hence this 20 minute stacked moment was centered around an "awkward" angle for tail observation. I'll let the experts discus/dismiss.

This image completes my images of comet 13P/ Olbers for this period. Perhaps I'll make a composite of those nights captured.
