C/2023 P1 (Nishimura) 2023-Aug-15 Mike Olason

Typical cloudy monsoon season here in the desert. Did manage to get an image of PCCP HN00003 which is now C/2023 P1 (Nishimura) between holes in the clouds this past morning. The comet was 16' at PA 306 degrees from the current MPC predicted position for C/2023 P1 when this image was collected. Astrometrica calculated the magnitude at G=10.6.
