The image above comes from the average of 15, 180-second exposures, remotely taken with the Celestron C14+Paramount ME+SBIG ST8-XME robotic unit available as part of the Virtual Telescope Project facility in Manciano, Italy. Images were collected under fair seeing conditions. The comet shows an interesting shape.

The image above was processed to show both the brightest, central regions and the delicate, outer coma. A gentle Richardson-Lucy deconvolution was applied. In the upper right inset, we see the comet structures, after a 15-deg. Larson-Sekanina rotational gradient was applied.
