Comet C/2020 ZTF-E3
in the evening sky
2/8/23

Not so easy to see this gem in Auriga with the naked eye anymore, the comet is hovering near 6th magnitude and while the dust tails have merged to form one brighter curving fan, the ion tail has faded considerably. The brilliant orange star iota Auriga is at upper left, and is a KIII super giant.
