C/2022 E3 (ZTF) 2023-Jan-20 Ludovic Perbet

Return to the balcony to observe C/2022 E3 (ZTF) around 2:15 a.m.
According to the position on SKY, very easy to find with Binoculars 8X42 (Contrary to my observation of 14/01)
Then pointing with the VIXEN Binoculars 125 mm X 54. It can be detected without difficulty, which indicates that its magnitude has really increase.
Description .
- A well-marked center and a fairly lighted area with a diameter of 1/3 of the entire head, off-center downwards and to the east.
- Its total diameter can be estimated at the spacing of the two nearby stars HD 139 479 and TYC 3486 1324, i.e. +/- 5.5'
- Extended by a first tail over a length of +/- 2 Diam. of the head .
- Then a very diffuse zone (Tail) faintly visible up to star HD 139 307, that is +/- one 30'.
Couldn't see the ionized tail yet ?
I compare its estimated visual magnitude to the star HR 5835 out of the field at m= 5.8
However, I could not see it with the naked eye.
