This image of Comet C/2020 M3 ATLAS was taken on the morning of Oct 16. The smoke from California's largest wild fire is ever present as I imaged 120second exposures on this fast moving comet.

Comet M3 is .45 A.U. away from earth, perihelion is Oct 25 and the comets orbit has been estimated at 139yrs.

Notice evidence of two faint tails.
