I observed the comet last night (27 July UT) with the 12x36's and the 15x70's on a p-gram mount. It's just a shadow of its former self, especially with bright moonlight, but still looking good enough. The tail was at least 5 degrees long. I thought it looked bluish to my eye but I could be wrong. I could see streamers in the tail with the 15x70's.

I made my magnitude estimate using the defocused star method and 57UMa (5.3), 55 UMa (4.75), and Alula Australis (3.8).

Between the weather and the Moon, I probably won't observe it again until after we get into the waning Moon--who knows what it will look like then in dark skies.
